Luckily I was able to extend my accommodation by one day 2 days ago, so I didn’t have to look for a new one for one day. So today was my last day in Bodø. The sun was already shining in the morning. I had to check out by 11am. So I had breakfast from the leftovers in the fridge and then everything was loaded into the car and off to the Museum of Flight. The Museum of Flight was a tip from a colleague of my Instagram friend. There is a large car park in front of the museum where you can park for 3 hours for free. Buy a ticket for the 3 hours and put it in the car. At least that’s how it was for me. When I saw the Museum of Flight from the outside, I was sure that I would never need the 3 hours, but I was taught better. 😊
There was a small restaurant at the entrance. This was also closed today. Somehow I haven’t had any luck with Norwegian restaurants in the last few days. They were always closed. I had to smile and took a photo with the title “without words 😂” and sent it to Virgil. 3 smiling smileys came back 😂 😂 😂.
When I entered the first hangar, I was amazed at how many aircraft there was room for.
The museum shows the history of Norway’s military as well as civilian aircraft. The descriptions are in Norwegian and English.
There is also a corner where the pilot profession is advertised. There are also some skill tests. These are not only exciting for children, but also for adults.😉
If you walk up to the old tower, you get a nice view of Bodø.
In between, I sent a photo to the colleague of my Instagram friend who gave me the tip and thanked him. It was very interesting and I actually spent the whole 3 hours in the museum. It’s worth a visit 😊.
